The girls hostel is a licensed shelter home for needy and orphan girls and is running according the Care and Protection of Children Act, 2015.
The home accommodates 26 permanent girls who are attending the day school and are being raised in a family atmosphere. Besides the permanent, many other girls (6-12) under eighteen are temporary living in the shelter home. These girls are under police custody or on order of the Child Welfare Committee. They have family (caste) problems: domestic abuse, ran from home or married (being under eighteen) in temple without consent of the girls parents.
The shelter home is totally depending on private donations. Average yearly costs: 8,00,000; €10.000; $11.500.
